Billi Pod Says==>GO GATORS!!

It is a bright and very cold morning here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World==>23º @ 8:30am. The wind chill factor makes it feel much much colder.

As expected, yesterday Billi Pod was a total 110% college football couch-potato for the afternoon and evening.

LSU lost, which was OK with me because I hate Tigers, even those that are in the SEC.

The Bulldogs won 45-31 over Nebraska by scoring 14 unanswered points in the 4th quarter. Yeah, it was kinda difficult for me to pull for the Dawgs, but I did.

OMFG!! Steve Spurrier’s Gamecock’s won a total nail biter over Michigan, 33-28, scoring the winning touchdown in the last minute of the game. OMFG!!

I really didn’t care who won in the Rose Bowl’s Stanford/Wisconsin game. Stanford won 20-14

About this time I had begun to get really antsy, so I headed out for some walking time. Walked over to The Port Authority Bus Terminal, walked a bit there, then took the subway down to the 14th Street station and walked there. Then subwayed back to Penn Station, which was jam-packed, walked there and then came on back to PHC. I logged in 4.5 miles. Nice.

Was back in the warm and cozy confines of PHC for the final bowl game of the day, FSU/Northern Illinois, in Miami’s Orange Bowl.

The ‘Noles had way too much speed and depth for the Huskies and they won 31-10. In all honesty, I thought the game was kinda boring.

Yes, my loyal and faithful readers and followers, Billi Pod makes no excuse about this day because he L O V E S college football, so just live with it, OK?

Moving on to today ...

Have an interesting matinee performance today ...

3:00==>ARTISTS OF LIGHT - “A combination of dance, music, special effects and contemporary technology create a feast of theatrical thrills for the audience’s senses.” (Off Broadway - discounted TDF ticket)

My theater-buddy Marty Kosarik highly recommended this show so I thought I would give it a shot.

Then, for the evening is ...
8:00==>FLORIDA/LOUISVILLE in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, carried on ESPN.

It will be the #3 ranked Gators (11-1) versus the #21 ranked Cardinals (10-2). The Gators are 14-point favorites.

I just hope the Gators can keep focused on the game because during the season they didn’t play well in a couple of games where they were overwhelming favorites.

Interesting side note for those of you who are not Gator fanatics==>Louisville coach Charlie Strong was Florida’s defensive coordinator from 2003-09, a period that included national championships in the 2006 and 2008 seasons.

Moving on ...

Have begun working on the entertainment stats for 2012 and they are going to be, in my humble opinion, very interesting for you loyal and faithful readers and followers. Will post them later in the week, hopefully.

So ... time to post this and then do some things and stuff ...

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>5.20 miles (or, 11,365 steps)

Total mileage since 7/1/12==>974.57 miles

Mileage remaining until 4/23/13==>104.43 miles

GO GATORS!!
