Friday==>The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, remains in the throes of Winter weather. It was only 12º @ 8:30am and snow is in the forecast for later in the evening.

I am very pleased to report that last night’s staged reading of SWEET BYE & BYE @ The York Theatre was a very enjoyable evening. 

The rather clunky story line (it never made it to Broadway), set in 2076, was performed by a very talented cast of Marymount College students. The house was full and included a lot of friends and families of the cast members.

I am glad I had this opportunity to see this event ... it was fun.

Lutoslawski (who??) - Dialogue for Violin & Orchestra, performed by Jennifer Koh;

Tchaikovsky - Romeo and Juliet Overture; and,

The orchestra will be conducted by Lorin Maazel.

My ticket is “free” because I used one of my remaining flex passes, one of the perks of being a season subscriber. I have one left.
