ALL THE RAGE==>A-

Monday==>The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, starts off the week cold and slightly overcast - 27º at 8:30am. Light snow is forecast for the mid-afternoon and into the evening.

So ... my loyal and faithful readers and followers out there in the hinterlands, wastelands and boondocks, let’s get this posting started with Billi Pod’s report card on yesterday’s entertainment event ...

ALL THE RAGE, Martin Moran’s one-man show that takes us on a search for truths about our abilities to heal and to hurt one another==>A-

I found the show to be well written and performed. Also, the staging and his use of multiple props is very impressive.

Yes, the story line is troubling in parts, especially when he references the subject matter of an earlier work, being sexually abused as a child by his camp counselor.

The prevailing message in this piece is that anger, when recognized and controlled, is an essential part of the human experience. How we deal with it, and forgiveness, will forever impact the meaning of our lives.

So ... Billi Pod says==>see this show!!

When the show was over, as planned, I came back to the warm and cozy confines of PHC and became a total couch potato, watching football for the rest of the day/evening.

Both of the games were very exciting, especially if you weren’t rooting for a particular team. Man, was I impressed with both winning QBs, Colin Kaepernick for the Niners and Joe Flacco for the Ravens.

I think that Super Bowl XLVII will be a lot of fun to watch.

Moving on ...

Well, my loyal and faithful readers and followers ... have you ever had one of those ... “why the f**k did I do that?” ... moments? I, of course, know the answer to that ... we all have had that experience, when it suddenly dawns on us that something we have done is just plain stupid.

This is just what happened in connection with tonight’s "entertainment" event, which is ... now take a deep breath ... calm your collective selves ... and then continue reading ...

7:30==>RELEVANT OCTOGENARIANS: Enduring Stars of the Entertainment World - “Barbara Cook, Joel Grey, Sheldon Harnick, Mary Rodgers and other guests come together to talk about their lives and work, giving a unique and intimate insights about staying active in your Octogenarian years.” (complimentary ticket)

This is at the 92nd Street Y, in the Upper Eastside.

I mean ... come on folks ... does Billi Pod really need ... “unique and intimate insights about staying active in your Octogenarian years?” I think not ... perhaps he should have been invited to join the cast, then it would make more sense ... but as a member of the audience? I think not ...

But ... I booked it almost a month ago through one of my ticket services, so I gotta show up. Oh well ...

Hobbling along some more ...

As most of you loyal and faithful readers and followers know ... today is Monday ... so ... that means Billi Pod has errands and stuff to do ... so ...

Damn ... in the back of my mind I keep thinking that something important is supposed to take place today. I wonder what?

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>1.07 miles (or, 2,343 steps)
