Happy Monday Everyone!

Happy Monday afternoon to all of my loyal and faithful readers and to all of my Worker Bee friends who are, sadly, back at their desks, cubicles, wait-stations, broom closets, dog-walking etc etc.

This posting will be somewhat shorter (stop it out there ... I know who you are and where you live/work ... any more clapping and I’ll come over there and bitch-slap you ... OK ... that’s better) because this being a Monday, it is errands day and Billi Pod still has things and stuff to do ... so ... let’s get right to it ...

Billi Pod’s report card on ELEPHANTS ON PARADE 2012, the award-winning one-act festival featuring 6 one-act plays==>B+

Actually 4.5 of the 6 plays get an A. Really good acting from a very energetic cast. I am glad I saw it.

When the show was over, around 6:00pm, the weather was nice ... a bit windy ... but nice, so I walked back to the apartment, a distance of approximately 3.25 miles. It felt really good to be out and about in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World.

Spent the rest of the evening in front of the tube watching baseball.

The Yankees game was in the afternoon and their bats came alive in a 10-4 win over Kansas City, tying the series at 2-2. Phil Hughes was the best he has been since 2010.

The Bombers have today off and then they begin a 6 game home stand - 3 with Tampa Bay and 3 with Seattle. Billi Pod will be at 3 of the games.

Tonight’s entertainment event is something a bit different ...

8:00==>OVER THE MOON CONCERT, hosted by Edie Falco - ““A concert celebrating the release of Over The Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project a two-CD set of original lullabies. Among the performers will be: Donna Murphy, Marc Kudisch and Nikki James.” (complimentary ticket).

It is being performed at the Stephen Sondheim theater, a Broadway venue, and I have a gut feeling it is gonna be a “hate-it or love-it” event.

OK ... will post this and then do some more things and stuff ... so ...

GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
