It is a beautiful day in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, and there was no way I was going to let this great weather get wasted, so I have just gotten back for about 4 hours of walking and wandering in the lower part of Manhattan.
As a result, this posting is a bit late and will be somewhat shorter, too ... yeah ... I know ... but maybe I will be able to catch up with other things and stuff in tomorrow’s posting.
Last night was a great night to be at Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed and Ego Built==>awesome weather, stellar performance from Hiroki Kuroda, the long-ball from Raul Ibanez and Andruw Jones, and we beat the Mariners and their ace “King Felix” Hernandez 6-2. Nice!!
The second game of the series is just underway (4:05pm) with Phil Hughes on the mound for The Bronx Bombers.
Tonight’s entertainment event is ...
8:00==>THE GAME OF LOVE - Musical’s In Mufti Series @ York Theatre - “This deliciously romantic musical about the frivolities and foibles of love takes place in 19th-century Vienna and involves a playful lothario whose rendezvous with five unique women unfold over the course of this sensuous, melodic romp.” (Off Broadway - subscription series)
The book and lyrics are by Tom Jones and the music is by classical composer Jacques Offenbach.
This is the final show of the series featuring the work of Tom Jones and I am really looking forward to it.
Well, it’s baseball time on the tube ... so ... will post this ... seeya later ...
GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
