TAKE THAT F**KSOX!!

Well, as you loyal and faithful readers know, yesterday afternoon 5 Bronx Bomber HRs crushed the F**KSOX and ruined the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park==>NICE<==it was only fitting that we came into that fetid cesspool known as Fenway Park and kicked butt!!

The final score was 6-2. We got an outstanding performance from Ivan Nova and the bullpen. Mo closed it out.

As might be expected the local papers had some nice things to say about the game ...

“100 YEARS OF ASS KICKING” - front page of the NY Post

“HIGH 5 - Yanks crash Fenway bash with quintet of homers” - back page of the Daily News.

“A Fenway Park Celebration Ends When the Yankees Step on the Field” - inside story line in the NY Times.

I don’t care if the F**KSOX win the next two games - what happened on their “anniversary day” is now part of the ‘Sucks history, never to be forgotten.

Game #2 is this afternoon at 4:05 and will be carried on Fox. Freddie Garcia will be on the mound for the Bronx Bombers and someone named “Doubront” will pitch for the ‘Sucks.

Moving on ...

I am happy to report that last night’s NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC concert @ Avery Fisher Hall was the usual stellar performance. My TDF seat was in basically the same area of the rear orchestra as my subscription series seat. The program ended with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 and the audience gave the orchestra a well-deserved standing ovation.

Today will be interesting, beginning with ...

1:00==>lunch with John Scott Reed somewhere in his East Village ‘hood. We have a lot of catching-up to do.

4:05==>YANKEES/F**KSOX @ Fenway Park, carried on Fox.

8:00==>NOW. HERE. THIS. - “The ultra-talented team behind the Obie Award-winning musical [title of show] are back and delving into life's big questions by exploring birds, bees, reptiles, early man, ancient civilizations, outer space, loneliness, friendship, hoarding, hiding, laughing, living, dying, middle school and dinosaurs.” (Off Broadway - complimentary ticket).

Billi Pod is really looking forward to this show. He loved [title of show].

In closing ... I am happy to report that Gina and Saylor made it safely back to Columbia, SC. We are all now awaiting ... awaiting ... well ... you know ... but I can’t say anything about it ... yet ... but you know ...

Hopefully I can master the new formatting on this website and make a timely and fully realized posting ... God, I hate change ...

GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
