A Daily Show With Jon Stewart Taping And Other Stuff.

Good morning everyone.

Well, it’s Wednesday in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World and it was kinda gloomy and windy and cold at 8:00am==>43º. Man, Billi Pod is more than tired of the windy and cold weather ... come on ... Spring is supposed to be here ... enough already!!

Looking forward to Friday’s Opening Day afternoon game out at Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed and Ego Built==>the weather projections call for cloudy skies and 54º at the 1:00pm game time.

Oh well ... moving on to ...

Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s TO KILL A KELPIE, about two grown up brothers who reunite and discuss being the victims of childhood sexual abuse by their pedophile Uncle==>C+.

Had extreme difficulty with the heavy Scottish brogues and often virtually whispered dialogue (I was in the second row). I found the story line hardly believable. Thankfully the running time was only 55 minutes. I did not stay for the talk-back.

When the show was over I came back to PHC and settled in to watch the rest of the YANKEES/ORIOLES game, in the top of the 4th inning. Starter Freddie Garcia was all over the plate in his 4 2/3 innings, giving up 4 runs and making 5 yes==>5 wild pitches.

The Yankees came back to tie the score and the game went into extra innings, with the Yankees winning in the 12th inning, 5-4. Mo got the save.

The game exposed a serious problem with our current lineup ... failure to get hits with runners in scoring position. They were a dreadful 2 for 18. A-Rod went 0-5.

The final game of the series is tonight with our ace CC Sabathia on the mound.

As reported in yesterday’s posting, this afternoon will be an interesting entertainment event ...

2:15==>“The filming of a Daily Show interview with Herman Cain, conducted by John Oliver. A ‘special guest’ will also stop by.” I have no clue who the “special guest” will be.

The interview will take place downtown at The Schimmel Center For The Arts @ Pace University. The taping will take 2 hours and 45 minutes and we are admonished that we MUST stay until the very end. As I remember from my time at a taping of The Daily Show several years ago, once you get in your seat you cannot leave, even for a bathroom break.

Should be fun and I am looking forward to it.

As of 11:30am I am unsure what, if anything, Billi Pod will do for the evening. Right now it looks like either staying in to watch the YANKEES/ORIOLES game or catching a movie. Time will tell ...

GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
