At 12:14pm, Sunday, May 1, 2011, CWO2 Alexander Falletta aka Army Guy, piloting his Apache (Longbow) helicopter, lifted off from McEntire Air Force Base, in Columbia, SC, heading to Fort Hood, Texas, to begin his deployment overseas, first to Iraq and then to Kuwait.
At approximately 8:45am, Friday, April 27, 2012, Army Guy and a plane load of his brothers-in-arms landed in Columbia, to be greeted by his wife Gina, his darling daughter Saylor, his mother Kathi, and his step-dad Dr. John.
IT IS OVER==>and Alex, Gina and Saylor will spend tonight together in their home in Elgin, SC.
Thank you Almighty God for returning Alex and his fellow soldiers back to their families and friends so that they may now return to a normal life.
Also==>Thank you Alex and the other members of Bravo Company, 1-151st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, for putting your lives in harm’s way to serve and protect this Country of ours.
I am so proud and so happy!
