Timmy Tebow Does Well With Jon Stewart

Good morning everyone. I am happy to report that last night Timmy Tebow held his own on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He was on the show to promote the release today of his book --

Through My Eyes by Tim Tebow, Nathan Whitaker

I was a bit concerned since the majority of the program up to Timmy’s appearance was devoted to the brouhaha involving Rep. Anthony Weiner’s schlong, focusing on whether the twittered picture was or wasn’t his junk.

But, no problem because Jon seemed truly interested in the book, Timmy’s background as a Gator and his being raised by missionary parents.

In case you don’t know anything about the book ... briefly ...

“In Through My Eyes, Tebow brings readers everywhere an inspirational memoir about life as he chose to live it, revealing how his faith and family values, combined with his relentless will to succeed, have molded him into the person that he is today. As the son of Christian missionaries, Tebow has a unique story to tell—from the circumstances of his birth, to his home-schooled roots, to his record-setting collegiate football career with the Florida Gators and everything else that took place in between.”

As soon as I post this I will head over to the Eastside Barnes & Noble and buy it.

Now, Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s ...

FABULOUS DARSHAN==>B+<==the first preview performance. The house was full and very enthusiastic.

Lots of funny lines and tear-inducing drama. Gay-themed? Yes, of course, but not filled with the all-too-common gay-theater stereotypes. The acting is excellent. Billi Pod recommends it.

No Yankee report card because they had the day off. Tonight at 10:00pm EST will be the first game of the 3 game series against the LA Angels. Ivan Nova will be on the mound for the Yankees. His starting role might well be on the line tonight.

Tonight’s entertainment event is ...

8:00==>SIDE EFFECT - “Hugh and Lindy's marriage seems picture-perfect, a beacon in their microcosmic Midwestern world of dinner parties and fundraisers. Behind closed doors they're falling apart - doors they can barely keep shut. Lindy's grappling with bipolar swings, their teenage sons are acting out, and Hugh's rising political star is suddenly imperiled.” (Off Broadway - discounted ticket)

Hummmmm ... sounds like another one of those ... marriage ain’t what it is cracked up to be ... so-called dark comedies. I guess it is impossible to write a play about being happily married and happy with your life ... oh well ...

In the name of fair and unbiased reporting, Billi Pod just has to pass on the following information to all of his male loyal and faithful readers out there in the vast hinterlands who are clamoring for tips on how to properly take a picture of their junk ...
