AJ Burnett Is Still Loser Boi

OK, my loyal and faithful readers, let’s get right to it==>last night AJ Burnett aka Loser Boi gave a puke-inducing performance that shoved the Yankees down a 0-7 hole after just 3 1/2 innings. We never recovered and lost 6-11. The game was so hard to watch because we did have opportunities but kept making dumbass mental mistakes and failing to get key hits. Barf!!

The local newspapers have not been kind ...

Tonight we will attempt to avoid a sweep with our ace CC Sabathia on the mound vs. Josh Beckett. Unfortunately, Beckett has owned the Bombers over his last several outings. Billi Pod will be there in his usual seat.

Billi Pod won’t bemoan the multitude of injuries suffered by The Wankies because every team in baseball has crucial players out of the game and on the bench due to injuries - it is just part of the game. That’s why you have a farm system - to be able to call up substitutes on short notice.

Oh well, there was one major positive for yesterday ... and it was ... the matinee performance of ...

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. I saw the show for the second time, this time with a complimentary ticket, and am happy to report that it is still a lot of fun and very well performed.

Norbert Leo Butz (isn’t that a terrible name? Can you imagine the ribbing, or worse, he got as a kid?) does a Tony-Award level performance as Agent Carl Hanratty. I still think that the Nominating Committee unfairly overlooked Aaron Tveit for his role as Frank Abagnale, Jr.

I was seated next to my FaceBook friend Daniel Nickle. We actually met-up before the show began and had a nice time talking about theater and things and stuff.

As I said ... this is a fun show ... so catch it if you can.

BREAKING NEWS==>I just got off the phone with my BFF Ginger Flowers of Atlanta, GA, and I am happy to report that she is doing well with her rehab program and she is scheduled to return to her home on Wednesday, June 15th.

Whew!! Thank You Higher Power!!

So ... on that happy note Billi Pod will close with ...

GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
