Wednesday - Facetime With Fabson

Good afternoon my loyal and faithful readers. I just got back from having breakfast/brunch with student/General Manager Scott Reed aka Fabson at an “in” place in Chelsea called Grey Dog. It was nice to see him because we had a lot of catching up to do. We had our usual therapy session.

I am very concerned that he is considering moving to a farm in upstate NY. Fabson-->if you are serious, then I strongly suggest you consider the Apopka/Leesburg area in Florida instead. Think about it.

Tonight-7:05-->Yankees/Detroit.

Last night’s game was very exciting with the Yankees winning 6-2 behind a decent outing by ace CC Sabathia. But the highlight of the evening was a tribute to a blind woman named Jane Lang.

Jane Lang has attended nearly 300 Yankee games alone, with a seeing eye dog. Just the two of them take a train from their home in New Jersey to Penn Station. Then they take the subway up to the Bronx and Yankee stadium, finishing a 2 hour trip. Awesome.

Yesterday members of the team went to her home, unannounced, and escorted her to the stadium. Awesome!

The Yankees are kinda banged up. A-Rod is out for “days” with a low-grade strain of his left calf. Andy Pettitte is nowhere near returning and Nick Johnson is likely (surprise surprise) gone for the season. And, yes, I know that other teams are also suffering from injuries, but I don’t care about them, so ...

GO YANKEES!!
