Ohio State Wins - New York Philharmonic Concert - Errands & Chores

Tuesday==>Last night was a great college football night if you were a Ohio State fan ... not so great if you were a Oregon Ducks fan.

As most of you loyal and faithful readers and followers know ... the Buckeyes took it to the Ducks, winning the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship by a score of 42-20 before 85,639 fans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.

The Ducks had been favored by 6-points.

The MVP of the game was sophomore running back Ezekiel Elliott who ran for 246 yards and four touchdowns, totally wearing down Oregon’s defense.

With the win Urban Meyer claimed his third national championship, one at OSU and two at the University of Florida.

Unfortunately, Billi Pod, Bill III aka The Bill and grandson Alex Falletta were all pulling for the Ducks. Oh well ...

The college football season is now over. Sure gonna miss it ... that is for certain.

Moving on ...

Since yesterday was a majorly nasty day Billi Pod postponed his usual errands and chores until today ... so ... that will be first on his list for this Tuesday.

Then ... for the evening it will be a classical music concert at Lincoln Center ...

7:30==>NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA @ Avery Fisher Hall - The program is:

Nielson - Clarinet Concerto (performed by Anthony McGill);
Ravel - “Valses Nobels et Sentimentales;” and,
Tchaikovsky - selections from “Swan Lake.” (season subscription series)

This program received a rave review from the New York Times music critic and that is good because Billi Pod is in the need for a classical music fix.

Moving on ...

Even though I didn’t leave the warm and cozy confines of my apartment yesterday I was still able to cobble together a decent walking day by walking around the apartment before the game started and then following my usual walking schedule during the game. By midnight I had recorded 4.26 miles ... but ... man ... that is such a boring endeavor, it really is.

Time to post this and then start working on the errands and chores list, including the weekly trip to The Food Emporium across the street.

Oh ... it’s still cold out. At 10:30am it is 25º, wind chill down to 12º

STAY WARM EVERYONE!!

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>4.26  miles (or, 9,316 steps)

Total mileage for 2015==>48.40 miles (average 4.03 miles per day)
