College Football Etc. Etc. Etc.

Friday==>WOW!! If you are an insatiable college football addict like moi yesterday was one of those OMFG days/nights of excellent games, totally unexpected results, highs, lows and gasp inducing moments.

Yeah, your favorite blogger here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, was in a total college football couch-potato mode from noon until midnight. I left the warm and cozy confines of PHC only once, to make a brief run to the local deli.

As most of you loyal and faithful readers and followers know, in the late afternoon the Oregon Ducks, lead by Heisman-winning QB Marcus Mariota, kicked Seminole butt, winning 59-20, ending the ‘Noles 29-game winning streak and probably ending Jameis Winston's FSU tenure.

Then, in the evening the underdog Ohio State Buckeyes, behind third-string QB Cardale Jones, beat #1-ranked Alabama 42-35, in a game that was a nail-biter to the very end.

The Ducks and The Buckeyes will now play for The National Championship on January 12th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It should be a terrific game.

Moving on ...

Actually, I don’t have much more to report since my entertainment plans for today are in flux at the moment.

Nothing remotely interesting has shown up on my ticket services, so it may be more college football during the afternoon and then a movie for the evening.

Yeah ... there are some more totally meaningless bowl games remaining, including tomorrow’s Toilet Bowl at noon from Birmingham, AL, The Gators vs. East Carolina.

I do feel the need to get out and about ... so ... we will see what develops.

Oh ... 2015 got off to a decent walking start due totally to my in-apartment walking regimen ... so ... let’s end this boring posting ... with ...

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>4.27  miles (or, 9,330 steps)

Total mileage for 2015==>4.27 miles (average 4.27 miles per day)

GO GATORS!!
