Happy 4th of July weekend to all of my Worker Bee friends and loyal and faithful readers out there in the vast hinterlands.
Yesterday afternoon our ace CC Sabathia pitched a gem as The Yankees swept the Brewers, winning 5-0.
Game 4 of the Subway Series vs The Yets is tonight @ 7:10pm at Pity Field. Billi Pod will stay in to watch it. Yes, yes ... I know ... it is a Friday night in The Big Apple, but folks ... it is Yankees/Mets ... so ...
My weekend entertainment schedule is designed to accommodate the Saturday 4:10pm game and the Sunday 1:10pm game. I do have shows scheduled for each night.
Also ... to partially atone for my perceived “sin” of staying in on a Friday night I will catch a movie in the late afternoon, probably the just released Tom Hanks comedy LARRY CROWNE or perhaps the critically acclaimed THE TREE OF LIFE starring Brad Pitt.
Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s VOCA PEOPLE==>A<==very entertaining. Different. Highly talented cast.
Be warned though, there is a lot of “audience participation,” particularly for those seated in the first 3 rows and in aisle seats. Definitely worth seeing.
Just finished the stats for the month of June and they are awesome, as usual. Will do a separate posting later in the weekend.
