Well my loyal and faithful readers, the entertainment stats for the month of June have been compiled and, in my humble opinion, they remain pretty awesome.
Here they are ... remember though ... I just report - you decide ...
In checking my daily log (log, not diary - real guys don’t keep diaries) I find that during the month of June 2011 Billi Pod attended/saw/did the following:
2 Broadway shows (Catch Me If You Can and Master Class); 13 Off Broadway shows; 5 classical music concerts (4 with the New York Philharmonic); 4 Movies (Midnight in Paris; Beginners; The Hangover Part II; and, The Art of Getting By); and, 8 Yankee games, including Old-Timer’s Day (4 wins and 4 losses - barf!).
The highlights of the month were the passage of the legislation authorizing same-sex marriages in the State of New York and ten years of recovery from my heart problems, which began on June 27, 2001.
Billi Pod was also able to have face time with John Scott Reed, who, as you know, now lives in the vast wilderness known as Brooklyn, or at least it is “alleged” that is where he lives ... “alleged” because Billi Pod has YET to be invited to view his new “residence” in person.
Also had fun time with some of my AA buds on a couple of different occasions (you know who you are).
Billi Pod stayed in PHC without attending some entertainment event only ... tada ... 2 days/nights. This means that he maintains his routine of being at some entertainment event at least 9 out of 10 days/nights.
All of these stats reaffirm why Billi Pod loves living in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World and why he will be here as long as he can put one foot in front of the other ... jus sayin’...
GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
Billi Pod
