Sunday Was A Kick-Butt Day!!

It is a beautiful day in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World.

As all of you loyal and faithful readers and followers know, the kids are all back in school, clad in their new outfits with all of those new gadgets in tow. Well, my internet research has uncovered something that all of you parents out there in the boondocks, wastelands and hinterlands should seriously consider ...

Sorry about the “four-letter” word but I just couldn’t edit it out and still be a fair and unbiased reporter.

Yesterday was a “kick-butt” day for Billi Pod ... starting with ...

The Yankees 13-3 win over the Orioles in Camden Yards. The Bronx Bombers overcame another weak outing from Freddy Garcia. Our bats did the job led by a 5-RBI performance from Curtis Granderson coming off the bench.

We remain in first place in the AL East by 1-game, have the day off today and then begin a 3-game series against the last place Boston FuckSox up at that fetid cesspool known as Fenway Park.

The second “kick-butt” was the Jets 48-28 win over the Bills. Mark Sanchez had an excellent game.

Timmy Tebow wasn’t much of a factor. In fact, he almost seemed to be a distraction. Don’t know how this is going to play out over the rest of the season.

Then the “kick-butt” day was completed with ...

FLY ME TO THE MOON, about two economically challenged women who face an ethical dilemma when the old man they’ve been caring for dies after a financial windfall==>B

Excellent acting but mostly unbelievable story line.

Liked it more once my ears finally got tuned into the working class English accents.

The show is at the 59 E. 59 theater complex @ 59th and Park Avenue. I got to the area about a hour early and spent the time before the show in a nice walk and wander session between Central Park East and Park Avenue up to 66th Street.

When my show was over it had begun to lightly sprinkle so I decided not to walk back to the apartment. Also, I already had logged in a very good walking day.

What about today?

Well, it is Monday so it will be my usual errands and stuff day. As of the moment I have nothing scheduled for the evening but don’t worry my loyal and faithful readers and followers, something will show up. You may rest assured that today ain’t gonna be another “time-off” day.

I do have an interesting schedule for the rest of the week, highlighted by a visit to The Big Apple by my dear friend Polly Mounts of West Palm Beach, FL.

Yeah ... Miss Polly will arrive on Thursday and stay until Sunday and she/we already have tons of things and stuff scheduled. Will post the details later.

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>6.52 miles (or, 14,259 steps)

Mileage for last 7 days==>45.02 (or, 98,459 steps)

Total mileage since 7/1/12==>347.09 (or, 759,086 steps)

GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
