Monday==>Another Errands Day In The Big Apple.

This morning I posted on my FaceBook Wall that I hoped that today would be a better errands day than last Monday ... well ... Billi Pod is happy to report that thus far it has been and that is the reason for the delay in posting to this blog.

But ... dammit ... had to make two trips to the grocery store. You know, no matter how much I try it seems that I never can get everything in the first trip. You guys out there know the feeling ... right ... you are unloading stuff and then you think ... damn ... (or f**k for some of us) ... I forgot to get X, Y and Z, the 3 things your mind is now telling you that you can’t do without. Doesn’t matter if you made a list and checked it twice ... it always happens ... and, dammit, it is a guy thing 98.75% of the time.

Something we are not proud of but just have to live with ... oh well ... anyway ... back to important and relevant things, like ...

Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s performance by Patrick Combs in MAN 1 BANK 0==>A+<==one of the funniest and best performed shows in a long long time. He did, in fact, take on a mega-bank and won, despite all odds and the show skewered big banks and their lack of real customer service and/or relations. Too bad this was the last performance.

Remember the name Patrick Combs. His book by the same title has just been published.

Tonight’s entertainment event for Bill Pod is ...

8:00==>ADAM PASCAL & ANTHONY RAPP @ Town Hall - “The original Rent stars Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal perform in a one-night concert. They will share stories and music from Rent along with performances of pop, rock and original songs.”

Yes, I know what some of you are thinking ... but Billi Pod couldn’t pass this event up despite the BCS Championship game at 8:30pm. I saw these guys right after Rent opened on Broadway and loved them and the show - saw it/them multiple times. Had to see this concert, period.

I know I will be back in warm and cozy PHC in time to watch the second half of the game ... so ... go SEC!!
