Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s ROOM 17B==>very very funny in your face physical humor and when I say ... in your face ... I really mean it because it is playing in the very very small Theater C at the 59E59 Theatre. Yes, the audience is very much a part of the show (without giving any spoilers).
If you are in the mood for something different, funny and very well performed, then you gotta catch this show. It runs through February 6th, so .... see it, dammit, see it ... you won’t be sorry, Billi Pod promises. Anyway ...
Billi Pod’s plans for today==>football in the afternoon, then meet up with Lance Smith and his wife Joan, from Orlando, for dinner at my favorite theater district restaurant, Angus McIndoe - will be a table #17, as usual.
Lance and Joan are making their first visit to The Big Apple and are in town to see Prince at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
About Lance==>he grew up in my hometown, Bartow, FL, and is the son of my high school buddy Frank “Bubba” Smith. Lance is a close friend of my son Bill III aka The Bill, who also lives in Orlando.
