BREAKING NEWS==>”SPIDER-MAN: Turn Off The Dark” opening night is delayed for the fifth time in order to ...“fine-tune aspects of the show,” according to the show’s producers. The new opening date is now scheduled for March 15th.
Oh yes, the drama continues, but you know something that is fascinating about the show? What you are no doubt breathlessly asking? Well, despite all of the problems and negative press and buzz, last week it was the top grossing show on Broadway. Go figure.
Another interesting Broadway “event” - the chat board All That Chat http://www.talkinbroadway.com/allthatchat/
has been the victim of repeated shut downs due to hacker attacks and it has been “suggested” that the hackers are the producers of SPIDER-MAN. Of course they deny it as does the webmaster who runs the site. Still the buzz continues.
Anyway, on to other things and stuff, starting with Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s --
SCREENPLAY==>B+<==much more dramatic than comedic, but still very entertaining.
It is 95 minutes without intermission and probably could be cut by 10 minutes, but
it is definitely worth seeing.

8:00==>NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC @ Lincoln Center - featuring Schumman’s Symphony No. 4 and Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.2, with pianist Yefim Bronfman. (discounted TDF ticket).
Oh==>I forgot to mention that it was freezing this morning, 18º and the wind chill brought it down to the single digits. I am, however, warm and cozy in PHC.
Oh #2==>The Yankees just made a major addition to their bullpen with the addition of lights-out reliever Rafael Soriano, who will assume the role of setup man for closer Mariano Rivera.
Oh #3==>Billi Pod has grown tired of the back and forth sniping between The Jets and The Patriots. Please guys just SHUT THE F**K UP!!!
