Man==>I have to admit that I am floored with the decision The Jets just made to sign Timmy Tebow, I guess for the role of back-up quarterback to Mark Sanchez, who recently received an extremely generous contract extension. WTF??
The Jets are known for their instability and acrimonious clubhouse and I just can’t fathom how Timmy will fit in. What this team does not need is a quarterback controversy and that is just what will happen the first time Sanchez experiences any difficulties. WTF??
Oh, yes ... let the drama begin.

Yesterday’s staged reading of Bruce Hornsby's STRANGER==>needs tons of work in all aspects and that is giving it the benefit of the doubt.
The nice thing was that I was able to spend some time with Dian Crystal and her posse, which yesterday included Marty Kosarik, Julie Miller and moi.
Last night’s NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC @ Avery Fisher concert featuring Beethoven’s Symphonies 1 & 3 was wonderfully beautiful.
I honestly can’t say the same for Hartmann’s (who??) Concerto for Solo Violin & String Orchestra, performed by the renowned violist Gil Shaham . It just didn’t work for me and it received a pretty tepid response from the audience.
Tonight I will meet up with John Scott Reed at his new pad in The East Village and we will then do some catching-up over dinner someplace in his ‘hood.
I will close this posting with the seventh (and final) of the seven “Musings from “THE MIND OF BILLI POD (a memoir in progress)” that were accepted by Philosoraptor, The Pontificating Velociraptor of Our Time ...
