GET THEE AWAY BLAHNESS!! SO LONG FUNK!!

Good morning to everyone out there in the hinterlands and boondocks.

Not a nice TGIF for all of my Worker Bee friends==>nasty, ugly, misting rain and 41ยบ @ 7:30am.

BLAH!! Yep, Billi Pod is definitely in a blah induced funk.

The nasty weather contributed to my blahness this morning and ... as you loyal and faithful readers know ... I just posted about the passing of my dear friend Jack Davis.

Losing Jack was expected because his health had been on a downward spiral for quite some time ... but ... that doesn’t make the loss any easier to handle.

Frankly, it makes the preparation of this posting even more difficult because I have been so blessed to be able to be living out my lifetime dream here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World.

OK ... dammit Bill aka Billi Pod ... Jack wouldn’t want you to be so dramatic ... so ... it’s time to move on ... so ... here goes ... GET THEE AWAY BLAHNESS!! SO LONG FUNK!!

Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s entertainment event ...

THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, the court room drama over the fate of Judas Iscariot, known for his betrayal of Jesus==>A<==Jesus Christ, what a terrific show!! The fact that I had seen JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR on Wednesday's matinee made this show even more meaningful/enjoyable.

An incredible ensemble cast of 18 is led by Steven Carrieri as Judas; Adyana de la Toree as the defense attorney; Eliud Kauffman as the prosecuting attorney; Bud Stafford as Judge Littlefield (I could see myself in that role, if I had a beard); and, Stephen Alan Wilson as Satan. Many of the cast play multiple roles.

The show is funny, profane, perhaps a bit sacrilegious, and, of course, very thought provoking. The 3 hour 15 minute running time (one intermission) is tolerable, although I believe at least 15 minutes could easily be cut.

Billi Pod says==>See this before it closes on April 6th.

Tonight’s entertainment event is ...

8:30==>ETERNAL EQUINOX - “In 1923 a dashing mountaineer pays a surprise visit to Charleston, the summer home of two of Britain's most important artists, Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell. Art, sex, conquest and love collide.” (Off Broadway - complimentary ticket).

This show is playing at the 59th Street Theatre Complex, one of my favorite venues, as most of you loyal and faithful readers know.

In the name of fair and unbiased reporting I want to share with you that Billi Pod has an awesome entertainment schedule already booked for the upcoming 10 days ...
