Friday Report And Breaking News!!

Good morning all of my loyal and faithful readers out there in the vast hinterlands.

Thank God the rain has stopped in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World. As I write this, around 2:30pm, it is actually up to 54º under cloudy skies.

Totally enjoyed last night’s show==>WINKIE. It is very very funny, well acted and also thought-provoking. See it my NYC friends.

Tonight’s entertainment event is --

8:00==>THE OTHER PLACE - “One step at a time, a mystery unravels as contradictory evidence, blurred truth and fragmented memories collide in a cottage on the windswept shores of Cape Cod.” (Off-Broadway - discounted TDF ticket).

Sounds interesting, doesn’t it.

Well, Billi Pod has just booked yet another Broadway show, in previews, with a discounted ticket. Now, before I share info about the show title, I want to assure the Politically Correct Police out there (and you know who you are) that the following title of the show is exactly what appears on the marquee outside the Broadway theater, tada --

THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT

Yep, that is the exact title. The show stars Chris Rock, making his Broadway debut.

You know, we have really come a long way, because I can remember (not joking, I can) when the phrase ...

“Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn”

caused international outrage when Rhett Butler said it to Scarlett O’Hara in GONE WITH THE WIND.

BREAKING NEWS==>tomorrow Billi Pod will travel to Somalia (located in one of the outer-outer boroughs of NYC) to visit with his young friends Justin Pifer and Ben Sears aka Ben Ten Ten.

With that in mind, he will now have to conclude this posting in order to get his visa stamped and his immunization chart updated. More details later.
