Monday’s Update==>The Yankees/Broadway Battles Bullying/5 Rules of Life

Monday==>Ah, Yes ... at noon here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, it is partly cloudy with a nice breeze coming off The Hudson River to accompany the temperature of 75º. A great way to begin the week.

Your favorite blogger feels great and that is also a major plus since he has a ton of errands and chores that need to addressed ... so ... let’s get started with ...

As you loyal and faithful readers and followers know from yesterday’s posting, Sunday’s highlight was the awesome lunch with Dian Crystal aka My Lady, Marty Kosarik aka Whatever and Robert Danforth at Meske, the Ethiopian restaurant on West 47th Street in my Hell’s Kitchen ‘hood.

As planned, for the evening I stayed in the comfortable confines of PHC  to watch the final game of the 4-game YANKEE/FUCKSOX series beginning at 8:05pm on ESPN.

It was a very exciting game to watch, and, as you sports fans know, The Bronx Bombers won 3-2 on the bat of Carlos Beltran and a decent outing from Ivan Nova. The Yankees won the series 3-1 over those despicable FuckSox.

One downside ... the Yankees lost a couple more players to injuries, Jeter didn’t play for the second consecutive game and our 25-man roster is almost depleted.

Luckily, we have the day off today before beginning a 3-game series against The Chicago Cubs out at Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed and Ego Built.

Moving on ...

Tonight’s entertainment event is a benefit concert ...

7:00==>BROADWAY BATTLES BULLYING- “A benefit concert for the Michael Morones Foundation, a new nonprofit dedicated to protecting and empowering our youth through educating communities about bullying and youth suicide prevention. Performers include Laura Benant and opera star Joyce Didonato, plus an array of current Broadway talent.” (concert - complimentary ticket)

This event is being performed at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in The West Village.

When the concert is over I plan to walk back to my West 42nd Street apartment.

Moving on some more ...
