Friday==>TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!! The lowly Mets won last night’s final game of the 4-game Subway Series by a score of 3-1 to sweep the Series. TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!
Folks, I don’t believe anyone, and I mean anyone, could have predicted this outcome.
Except for the virtually meaningless runs in the 9-4 loss The Wankies scored only 1 run in each of the other games, highlighting a major flaw in this team now composed of rookies and fill-in players.

The only good thing about the game was that I wasn’t in front of the tube watching the catastrophe conclude.
Yes ... Thank God ... instead I was at a very interesting Off Broadway show at Theatre Row on my block ...
DOJOJI: The Man Inside the Bell, the dance-drama re-imagining of a Japanese ancient legend==>B+
It is well-performed, interesting but a bit confusing.
The story line is==>A young monk, the emperor’s son Anchin falls for an innkeeper’s daughter while on his way to the Dojoji Temple. When he leaves her, she transforms herself into a serpent demon. Spurred by her wrath, she pursues Anchin through the centuries to contemporary Tokyo.
It has a rather short running time, 90 minutes with intermission, and runs through June 9th. It is worth seeing if you want something a bit different.
Moving on to tonight’s entertainment event ...
7:30==>THE UNAVOIDABLE DISAPPEARANCE OF TOM DURNIN - “Tom Durnin did the time for his white-collar crime. Now, he’s determined to win back the respect he believes he deserves - even if that means ripping apart the new life his family has so carefully put together in his absence.” (Off Broadway - complimentary ticket)
This show is in very early previews and certainly sounds interesting. At the theater I hope to meet up with a couple of my theater-buddies, Dian Crystal aka My Lady and Mary Maggio.
Well ... I guess I have to mention that tonight The Boston FuckSox come into Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed And Ego Built, for a 3-game series.
The FuckSox now lead the AL East by 2-games.
On the mound for The Wankies will be our struggling ace CC Sabathia (4-4) vs. Jon Lester (6-1) the ace of The FuckSox staff.
Hopefully, Teixeira and Youkilis will get some playing time during the series
Yesterday was an excellent walking day here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World. It was in the low 90s and is about the same for today.
It is now 1:30pm so I will post this and then do a bit of walking and wandering now that the Sun has moved enough for the shadows to begin to develop. That way I can minimize exposure to the rays.
Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>6.50 miles (or, 14,210 steps)
Total mileage since 7/1/12==>1,561.12 miles
