Hiroki Kuroda==>Light’s Out!!

Saturday==>Last night’s game out at Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed And Ego Built, was a lot of fun. The picture was taken @ 6:30pm from my discounted 1/2 price seat.

I liked the people who were seated around me so I opted not to try to sneak back to my season ticket package seat (empty) even though it is closer to home plate.

The announced attendance was 40,008 and the weather was great.

As you loyal and faithful readers and followers know, The Bronx Bombers won 5-0 on another stellar outing from Hiroki Kuroda who pitched 8-innings of shutout ball, giving up only two hits, a walk and fanning five. He has, in fact, become the ace of the staff, with a record of 6-2.

With the win The Bombers remain atop the AL East.

Bad news==>Andy Pettitte went on the 15-day DL with an upper back muscle problem.

This afternoon @ 1:05pm is game 2 of the series and it will be David Phelps (1-2) on the mound for the Yankees vs. Brandon Morrow (1-2) for the Blue Jays.

Your favorite blogger will watch the game on the tube and then for the evening it will be a classical music concert ...

8:30==>NEW YORK CITY CHAMBER ORCHESTRA & MASTERWORKS FESTIVAL CHORUS @ Carnegie Hall - The program is: Haydn’s “The Creation.” (concert - complimentary ticket)

This is an awesome piece and is considered by many to be Haydn’s best work. I am really looking forward to it.

OK, my loyal and faithful readers and followers, the first Street Fair of the season is underway on 9th Avenue from 42nd up to 57th Street and Billi Pod definitely needs to check it out ... so ...

Oh ... yesterday was a really good walk and wander day here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World ...

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>6.11 miles (or, 13,360 steps)

Total mileage since 7/1/12==>1,497.15 miles

GO YANKEES!!
