A Decision Based On Logic and Conservatism==>WTF?

Sunday==>Yes, my loyal and faithful readers and followers, yesterday was a nasty weather-day here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World ... lots of snow and freezing rain.

It was so nasty that your favorite blogger canceled his scheduled afternoon show, didn’t book anything for the evening and stayed in the warm and cozy confines of his apartment aka PHC, safe and out of the elements. WTF??

Yes, I know this a serious admission and that many of you are finding it to be majorly disturbing ... but ... for once Billi Pod based his decision(s) on logic and conservatism. Wait ... “logic and conservatism” in the same sentence as “Billi Pod?” Can this be humanly possible I know many of you are asking your inner selves?

Well, obviously the answer is YES ... so ... inner selves ...  let’s all take a deep breath ... let it out ... take another one ... let it out ... now ... we will rationally move on ...

The major plus to Billi Pod’s decision to stay in was ... when he discovered that his theater-buddy Dian Crystal aka My Lady was virtually stranded between her entertainment doubleheader shows he was able to make contact with her and invite her to come to the warm and cozy confines of PHC and hang out.

She did and we had a very nice time together for about 2 hours, doing some major catching-up.

For the evening Billi Pod found himself in front of the tube watching an incredibly informative and emotional 3-hour series on The Military Channel called “World at War.”

Yes, it was indeed a very different Saturday for Billi Pod here in The Big Apple.

Moving on ...

At 10:30am it is 25º, wind chill 16º with cloudy skies. There is no snow or rain in the forecast, Thank God!

To make up for yesterday’s decision to stay-in Billi Pod has booked a very interesting entertainment doubleheader ... starting with ...

2:00==>RIDING THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS with Billy Hayes - “Now live on stage – performed by the man who lived it - Billy Hayes recounts his time in a Turkish prison, were he was serving a sentence of 30 years for drug smuggling, and his daring escape. His story was made into an Oscar-winning motion picture starring Brad Davis.” (Off Broadway - complimentary ticket)

This show is playing at The Theatre at St. Luke’s on West 46th Street, has a running time of 1:10, without intermission, and runs through March 23rd.

When the show is over I will come back to PHC and have my usual pre-theatre snack, a fruit and cheese plate, and then it will be a classical music concert ...

8:30==>MASTERWORKS FESTIVAL CHORUS AND ORCHESTRA @ Carnegie Hall - The program is:

SCHUBERT Mass No. 2; and,

Works by Dickau, Telemann, and Smith.
($9.00 TDF ticket)

So ... have a great rest of the weekend everyone ... and ...

STAY WARM!!

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>1.01 miles (or, 2,227 steps)

Total mileage for 2014==>135.99 miles (average 2.96 miles per day)
