Billi Pod Says==>FIRE COACH MUSKRAT!!!

Sunday==>OK, my loyal and faithful readers and followers ... let’s get right to what is bothering your favorite blogger this morning and that is ... tada ...

The Gators humiliating loss yesterday to the Vanderbilt Commodores by a score of 31-17, in the Homecoming game at The Swamp. With the win Vandy ended their 22-game losing streak to the Gators and scored their first win at Florida Field since 1945 ... yes ... that is correct ... since 1945.

The loss dropped the Gators to 4-5 and 3-4 in the SEC. With both South Carolina and Florida State on the remaining schedule we could easily end the season with a record of 5-7, the first losing season since the 0-10-1 1979 season fiasco. We would be shut out of a bowl game for the first time since 1990.

Folks ... let’s face it ... Coach Muskrat and his woeful offensive coordinator, Brent Pease, have got to go.

And ... guess who has come to Muskrat’s defense? Why ... none other than ... Ron Zook ... like The Gator Nation gives a flying fuck about what Ron Zook aka Loser Boi has to say about anything.

FIRE COACH MUSKRAT!

Anyway ... moving on to Billi Pod’s report card on last night’s entertainment event ...

WITNESSED BY THE WORLD, about a hard-hitting journalist who digs into Jack Ruby's role in the JFK assassination only to find disastrous results==>B+

The show is interesting, informative and emotionally involving.

The lead role of the journalist, Joan Ross, is very believably played by Charlotte Maier. The rest of the cast is also excellent.

I think 10-minutes could easily be cut from the current 1:30, without intermission, running time.

My friends Dian Crystal aka My Lady and Vera Olichney were also at the performance and they both liked it.

Billi Pod says==>see it!!

It is playing at the 59E59 Theatre Complex, one of my favorite venues, and runs through December 15th.

FIRE COACH MUSKRAT!!

It is a bright but chilly and windy morning here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World. At 10:30am it is 55º. The low tonight will be in the upper 30s.

Today is an entertainment doubleheader ... starting with ...

3:00==>A MIND BENDING EVENING OF BECKETT - “Explores the landscape of the human condition in absurdist, minimal style in 3 short plays:
"Act Without Words" - everyman is stranded on a desert island;
"Breath" - a statement on human life itself; and,
"Play" - three people are trapped and isolated due to an unexceptional affair.” (Off Broadway - complimentary ticket)

This well reviewed show is playing at the Studio at The Irish Repertory Theater on West 22nd Street, has a running time of 75 minutes, with one brief intermission, and runs through December 1.

As some of you loyal and faithful readers and followers will remember, I initially booked this show back on October 24th but missed it because I had written down the wrong starting time. Trust me==>this time I triple checked the starting time.

FIRE COACH MUSKRAT!!!

When the show is over I will leisurely walk over to the Eastside for my second show, which is ...

6:00==>LIES MY FATHER TOLD ME - “This new coming-of-age musical follows three generations of an immigrant family living in Montreal during the 1920s.” (Off Broadway - complimentary ticket)

This is the second preview performance of this show, it has a running time of 2:00, with intermission, is playing at The Baruch Performing Arts Center on East 25th Street and runs though December 14th.

It is being produced by The National Yiddish Theatre and is performed “mostly in English.”

I will be seeing it with My Lady.

FIRE COACH MUSKRAT!!!!
