Sorry About Being Late

Good afternoon all of my loyal and faithful readers and followers. Sorry about the lateness in posting today but I had a couple of routine doctor’s  appointments (eye and heart) that took a bit longer than usual. Oh, not to worry ... it had nothing to do with me and everything is OK ... just a bit of a delay in the last one.

When the last one was finished I then walked back from the doctor’s office on East 61st Street to PHC on West 42nd Street. The weather was nice and it felt great.

Anyway ... in response to several emails and postings ... Billi Pod wants to delve just a bit deeper into the Harry Potter “situation” ... so please ... think about this ...

Yesterday really turned out to be a strange day. Things just didn’t work out as I had planned/anticipated. No big deal, they just didn’t. The bottom line was that Billi Pod ended up staying in and spent the evening in front of the tube watching the YANKEES/WHITE SOX game.

As most of you know, The Yankees lost 9-6 in a game they could-of/should-of won. Starter Freddy Garcia just didn’t have it, giving up 5 runs in 4 1/3 innings but it was the bull pen that really imploded, giving up 4 more runs, mostly on the long ball.

The loss shaves our lead over the red-hot second place Rays to 4-games and that makes me begin to feel kinda antsy.

Tonight @ 8:00pm it will be Ivan Nova (11-6) for the Bronx Bombers vs. Franciso Liriano (4-10) for the White Sox.

On a more positive note ... today’s entertainment event has me really excited ...

What a program!! This is the next to last concert in the Mostly Mozart Festival. I also have a ticket for the final program on Thursday. Details, of course, later.

When the concert is over I will walk back to the apartment while listening to the final innings of the Yankees/White Sox game.

Speaking of walking ... yesterday was an excellent day in my walking plan, resulting in a couple of extra miles in my reserve locker ...
