Good morning my loyal and faithful readers.
WOW!!-->a major storm, perhaps a tornado (the National Weather Service is checking), with 100 mph winds caused extensive damage to the outer boroughs around 5:30 yesterday. It all happened in minutes-->the sky turned black, rain came pounding down and the wind howled-->it was scary as hell - and then it was over. Man, what is it with the crazy weather world-wide over the past 2 years??
On to other things and stuff --
Report card on THE PITMAN PAINTERS-->excellent. I did, however, have some trouble with the accents, just like in BILLY ELLIOTT. That said, I found it to be a riveting evening - good story and terrific acting. I recommend it.
The Yankees begin a 3 game series against the Orioles in Baltimore and, hopefully, will break out of their slump. Only problem-->AJ Burnett aka Loser Boi is on the mound.
Tonight-8:00-->A HOME ACROSS THE OCEAN - “Connor and his boyfriend think they're ready to start a family - Connor's recently widowed Mother thinks she needs to re-start a family herself. How ready are they?” At a theater on my block.
I will close with a big shout-out to my dear friend DAVID HUDDLESTON, the actor, who turns 80 today. His recovery from major heart surgery is going well, Thank God!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!!
GO YANKEES AND GO GATORS!!
