Baseball, Baseball, Baseball - Thursday & Friday

Wednesday==>Well, my loyal and faithful readers and followers out there in the morass known as cyberspace, your favorite Sunshine State blogger must report that yesterday turned out to be==>walking and wandering, a few errands and then baseball on the TV.

Yeah, I felt pretty good, so I ended up recording==>5.18 miles on my pedometer.

The afternoon was spent watching the Florida/South Carolina Little League game, won by SC, dammit!

Then for the evening was a marathon ...

YANKEES/INDIANS, from Cleveland, won by the Indians 5-4 in the bottom of the 16th inning (yep, that’s right - 16 innings) on a walk-off single from Michael Brantley.

The game, that started at 7:10pm and ended at 12:15am, caused our lead in the AL East to shrink to only a 1/2 game over the surging Toronto Blue Jays. Major bummer!!

Tonight at 7:10pm is the second game of the 3-game series.

On the mound for the Yankees (61-50) will be our former ace CC Sabathia (4-8) vs. Danny Salazar (9-6) for the Indians (52-59).

So ... my plans for today are ... tada ... to stay in the cool and comfortable confines of my apartment to again watch Little League baseball during the afternoon and then the Yankees in the evening.

Moving on ...

I want to alert you that tomorrow’s posting will be delayed because of my plans to meet up with the Johnson brothers for lunch at the Dubsdread Country Club in Orlando.

Also ... as many of you will recall ... on Friday morning I am meeting with my urologist, Thomas Cangiano, at his office in Altamonte Springs, to go over the results of the testing and scans etc in order to develop a plan to KICK CANCER’S ASS.

This means that Friday’s posting will also be delayed, but, I promise that when I get back to the apartment I will share the results with you loyal and faithful readers and followers, I promise.

KICK CANCER’S ASS!!

GO YANKEES!! GO GATORS!!

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>5.18 miles (or, 11,319 steps)

Total mileage for 2015==>925.15 miles (average 4.15 miles per day)

Enjoy the Dubsdred Country Club and your friends! I expect I misspelled it but you know what I mean. It is a long time Winter Park establishment so should be quite nice, maybe even a bit retro. Fingers crossed for good results!
