Baseball - Timmy Tebow - Alex & Saylor

Saturday==>Good morning from Winter Park in The Sunshine State. At noon it is cloudy and muggy. The temperature is 86º, with the “feels like” index already up to 95º. Rain is in the forecast for the mid afternoon and into the evening hours (what’s new?).

When your favorite blogger woke up this morning he just wasn’t in the mood for the usual morning walk and wander session ... so ... we will see how the rest of the day works out walk-wise.

Moving on ...

Yesterday I spent the afternoon and evening in the cool and comfortable confines of my apartment watching baseball, Little League and the Yankees ...

Last night in Toronto pinch-hitting Carlos Beltran hit a crucial 3-run HR in the top of the 8th inning as the Yankees staged a come-from-behind 4-3 win, snapping the Jays 11-game winning streak and moving the Yankees back into first place in the AL East, by a half-game.

It was a very exciting game to watch as the Yankees battled back before a sellout crowd of 46,689 at Rogers Centre.

This afternoon at 1:07pm is game 2 of the 3-game series.

On the mound for the Yankees (63-51) will be Masahiro Tanaka (4-4) vs. Marco Estrada (10-6) for the Jays (64-53).

And, of course, your favorite blogger will be in front of his 42” flat screen TV watching the game.

At the moment I am not sure what my plans for the evening will be.

More on the sports scene ... also for you Marty ...

There are very favorable vibes coming out of the Eagles training camp regarding Timmy Tebow, who is competing for the job as the #3 QB. It is reported that his passing skills have greatly improved.

Timmy is expected to get plenty of reps in Sunday’s 1:00pm game against the Colts. I’ll be watching that game for sure on NFL.

Moving on ...

My deepest thanks to those of my loyal and faithful readers and followers who took the time to email, text and post. Yeah, together we are gonna==>KICK CANCER’S ASS!!

So ... we will close this posting out with a great picture of my oldest great-granddaughter, Saylor Falletta, and her dad, Alex, on a recent fishing trip.
Doesn’t get any better than this, does it.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!
