The Yankees Kick Ass - Upcoming Tests

Wednesday==>Good afternoon to all of my loyal and faithful readers and followers out there in the morass known as cyberspace.

It is yet another hot and muggy day here in the Sunshine State. At 12:30pm it is 89º, with the “feels like” index up to 96º. And, as usual there is rain in the forecast for the late afternoon and into the evening.

Luckily, I was able to get in a nice walk and wander session early this morning, recording==>3.05 miles.

The big news yesterday in Billi Pod’s world was ...

The Yankees 13-3 ass-whipping of the despicable Boston FuckSox. YES!!

The Yankees blew open a close game by scoring 9 runs in the 7th inning, highlighted by 3-run HRs from Brian McCann and Chris Young. The Bronx Bombers have scored 90 runs in their past 10 games. AWESOME!!

Masahiro Tanaka held the FuckSox to 3 runs and 5 hits over 6+ innings to get the win.

Tonight at 7:05pm at Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed and Ego Built, is the 2nd game of the 3-game series.

On the mound for the first place Yankees (60-45) will be rookie Luis Severino (0-0), making his first major league start vs. Steven Wright (4-4) for the last place FuckSox (47-60), who are now trailing the Yankees by 14.0 games.

The Bronx Bombers are now 7-3 against the FuckSox this year. Oh Yes!!

And, of course, your favorite Sunshine State blogger will be in the cool and comfortable confines of his new apartment watching the game on his 42” flat screen TV, in hi-def.

Moving on ...

This is advance notice that I will probably not post tomorrow because I have a day full of tests at Florida Hospital in Winter Park.

Yep, my schedule for tomorrow will be:

10:00am==>CT Urogram - “A CT Urogram is a CT exam that takes very thin slice (5mm) images of the urinary system, starting just above the kidneys and ending just below the pubic bone.”

Then, at noon==>NM Bone Imaging Whole Body - “A nuclear imaging test that helps diagnose and track several types of bone disease using tiny amounts of radioactive materials called tracers (radionuclides).”

For this procedure I will be injected at noon and then allowed to leave, to report back at 3:00pm for the scan, which can take up to an hour.

The results will be given to my new urologist, Dr. Thomas Cangiano, who will then discuss it will me at my appointment on Friday, August 14th. Hopefully, we will then develop a plan to KICK CANCER’S ASS.

When the tests are over I will come back to the apartment and settle in to alternate watching the Yankees/FuckSox game and the GOP Primary Debate at 9:00pm, carried on Fox.

Also, on Thursday evening at 11:00pm is the final performance of the Daily Show, with Jon Stewart, carried on Comedy Central. Will try to catch this, too. Gonna miss him.

So, my loyal and faithful readers and followers, you are now up-to-date ... so ... let’s ...

KICK CANCER’S ASS!!

GO YANKEES!! GO GATORS!!

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>2.45 miles (or, 5,370 steps)
