Billi Pod Was A Baseball Couch-Potato

Wednesday==>OK ... let’s get all of the stuff out in the open ... ready ... here it comes ... gasp ...

Yesterday your favorite blogger here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, turned into a total 110% baseball couch-potato. He only ventured outside to make the weekly trip to Food Emporium (savings of 10%). Yes ... Billi Pod was in front of the tube, watching Little League World Series games and both of the day/night YANKEES/TORONTO games.

And you know what ... it felt great because The Yankees won both of their games in rather dramatic fashion, the first game by a score of 8-4 and the second 3-2 on a walk-off single from Jason Nix in the bottom of the 9th.

The Little League games were exciting, too.

So ... what can I say ... I love baseball ... so ... don’t judge me ... just live with it ...

Anyhoo, my loyal and faithful readers and followers, speaking of doubleheaders ... well ... today is an entertainment doubleheader for Billi Pod. First is ...

2:00==>FINAL ANALYSIS - “In 1910 Vienna a strange young man with dangerous ideas clashes with the brilliant minds of the day - Freud, Stalin, Wittgenstein and Gustav Mahler. In a gesture of compassion Sigmund Freud almost destroys the world.” (Off Broadway - complimentary ticket)

This show is playing at The Pershing Square Signature Center, one block West of my apartment building, has a running time of 90 minutes, without intermission, and runs through October 5.

I saw the show back on July 19, 2012, when it was part of the Midtown International Theater Festival, and gave it a grade of A-.

When the show is over I will come back to PHC and have the usual fruit and cheese plate and then head out to my second entertainment event ...

7:05pm==>YANKEES/TORONTO @ Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed And Ego Built. This is the 11th game of my 12-game season ticket package.

On the mound for The Bronx Bombers will be Andy Pettitte (8-9) vs. knuckle ball throwing R.A. Dickey (9-11) for The Jays. This is the 3rd game of the 4-game series.

In closing ...

Billi Pod to A-Rod==>please shut the fuck up, you make me want to puke.

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>2.12 miles (or, 4,642 steps)

Total mileage since 7/1/13==>185.16 miles (average 3.63 miles per day)

GO YANKEES!!
