It is still hot and humid in The Big Apple, but the heat wave is over-Thank God!!
Last nite--->Adam Sandler’s GROWN UPS. Liked it. Yes, lots of frat-boy humor but it also has heart. It is worth seeing.
Yankees swept Oakland, winning 6-2 behind another stellar performance by AJ, who seems to be back in rhythm. Hopefully Swisher will be voted into the final position for the All Star Game-we will know at 4:00.
2nite @ 7:30--->New York Philharmonic-“Summertime Classics-From the Danube to the Rhine”-featuring works by Brahms, Listz, Dvorak & Strauss. My last NY Phil concert until late Sept.
