Saturday==>Tonight at 7:30pm down in The Swamp, in Gainesville, FL, the Florida Gators and Coach Muskrat will take on the LSU Tigers in a game where the Gators are underdogs by 1 1/2 points.
The starting quarterback will be Jeff Driskell. True freshman quarterback Treon Harris has been reinstated by the university and his team after the alleged victim withdrew her sexual battery complaint. However, he will not play in this game, according to Coach Muskrat.
Oh, the drama. Of course, your favorite blogger will be in front of his 42” flat screen TV to watch the game, carried locally on SECN.
Actually, Billi Pod will pretty much be in front of his TV for most of the afternoon and evening, alternating between postseason baseball and college football.
It is pretty nasty out right now at 11:00am, with light rain in the forecast for the afternoon and into the early evening hours ... meaning ... there is a good possibility that Billi Pod won’t reach his planned walking goal of at least 5-miles for today. Oh well ...
As predicted in yesterday’s posting, your favorite blogger stayed in the cozy confines of his apartment, PHC, last night to watch Game One of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) down in Baltimore.
What an exciting game it was as the Kansas City Royals won 8-6 in 10-innings, winning their 4th extra-innings game in their 5 postseason games.
Game Two will be this afternoon at 4:00pm with Yordana Ventura (14-10) on the mound for The Royals vs. Bud Norris (15-8) for The Orioles.

In the Yankee Universe==>GM Brian Cashman was signed to a new 3-year contract and hitting coach Kevin Long and first base coach Mick Kelleher were fired.
