Blah Monday - Lang Lang - New York Philharmonic

Tuesday==>Well, my loyal and faithful readers and followers out there in the boondocks, wastelands and hinterlands, your favorite blogger has to admit that Monday turned out to be a boring and blah day of nothing but errands, chores and stuff.

Yep, that’s right ... errands and stuff and no entertainment event of any kind. I won’t bore you with the boring details so ... let’s just begin with what Billi Pod has scheduled for tonight ... and that is ...

A highly anticipated special classical music concert at Lincoln Center ...

7:30==>NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA @ Avery Fisher Hall - The program is:

Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 17;

Mozart - Overture to The Magic Flute; and,

Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 24

(full price ticket)

This one-night-only concert will feature the young piano star Lang Lang.

I am a huge Lang Lang fan so when this concert was announced I immediately got a ticket. Billi Pod is really charged about this concert.

The concert has a running time of 1:15, without intermission. When it is over I will subway back to the apartment so I can watch the rest of The World Series game between Kansas City and San Francisco (details below).

Game One of The World Series begins at 8:07pm tonight from Kansas City, carried on FOX.

On the mound for San Francisco will be Madison Bumgarner (20-11) vs. James Shields (15-8) for Kansas City.

A majority of the pundits are picking The Giants but Billi Pod will be pulling for The Royals, who arrive on a combination of defense, speed and relief pitching. Oh ... and ... Billi Pod is also a huge American League fan.

Advance Warning==>tomorrow’s posting will be delayed because in the morning Billi Pod has a historic tour downtown with his friend Marie Taylor and then at 2:00pm he has a matinee ... so ... something will be posted in the late afternoon or early evening, hopefully.
