BUYER AND CELLAR==>A

Tuesday==>Well, my loyal and faithful readers and followers out there in the morass known as cyberspace, it is a gray and overcast day here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, with rain in the forecast for most of the day. Bad!

However, at noon the temperature is 50ยบ, with very light wind and that is Good.

I don’t believe the weather will be a factor in my final weekly chore/errand, the trip across the street to The Food Emporium to take advantage of the additional 5% senior citizen discount.

So ... why don’t we move forward with Billi Pod’s report card on his return visit to the acclaimed Off Broadway show ...

BUYER AND CELLAR, about a struggling actor in L.A. who has taken a job working in the basement of the Malibu home of a beloved megastar (hint - her first name is Babs)==>A

Folks, I totally love this one-person show performed by Michael Urie, who plays multiple characters, including Babs. It is funny, often profane, and laced with many insider-entertainment-freak jokes.

The house was 99% full and everyone seemed to be enjoying the show.

Its original first performance date was March 20, 2013 at the Rattlestick Theatre. I saw it the next night, March 21st, and loved it, giving it a grade of A. In mid-June it moved to the larger Barrow Street Theatre in The West Village and has been playing there ever since.

Its current closing date has been extended to August 31st but Michael Urie is leaving to show on March 6th to join the road company for performances in Chicago and LA. His replacement has not been announced.

To my Tri-State theater buddies==>you gotta see this show before Urie leaves.

Moving on ...

Tonight’s entertainment event for you favorite blogger is ...

7:30==>NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC @ Avery Fisher Hall - The program is:

Beethoven - Fidelio Overture;
Beethoven - Symphony No. 1;
Shostakovich - Violin Concerto No. 1 (featuring Lisa Batiashvili); and
Gershwin - “An American in Paris”
(season subscription series)

Yeah, an interesting program and I am definitely in the mood for some classical music.

Billi Pod now wants to share with his loyal and faithful readers and followers the results of some Internet research ...

Seven Cardinal Rules In Life from Dr. Oz:

You are sooooooooo very welcome!
