Monday Was Boring - Honeymoon In Vegas - Punk Rock Review

Tuesday==>Well, my loyal and faithful readers and followers ... yesterday was a totally nasty and boring day as I had predicted in Monday’s posting. It rained for most of the day and into the early evening.

Your favorite blogger left the warm and cozy confines of his apartment, PHC, only once for a very brief trip to The Food Emporium across the street. Even that was unpleasant.

Entertainment-wise I had several options, of course, but Billi Pod opted to avoid any further exposure to the elements ... so ...

Monday was basically a downtime, blah, boring day here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World.

And ... this morning The Weather Gods apparently retaliated against Billi Pod’s snarky weather reporting because at 8:30am the temperature was a very uncomfortable 26º and the strong wind coming off The Hudson River had the wind chill down to ... gasp ... 13º. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrr!! Not even thinking about going outside until it is time for my entertainment event for the evening ... which is ...

The Broadway show ...

7:00=>HONEYMOON IN VEGAS - “This musical remake of the 1992 hit film tells the story of Jack Singer, a regular guy with an extraordinary fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman, looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy.” (Broadway - discounted TDF)

Tonight is the first preview performance of the musical starring Tony Danza and Rob McClure. It opens on January 15th, is playing at The Nederlander Theatre on West 41st Street, has a running time of 2:25, with intermission, and is an open run.

The projected temperature at 6:00pm is 29º. God knows what the wind chill will be. Luckily the theatre is only two East/West blocks from my apartment.

Moving on ...

I am happy to report to you loyal and faithful readers and followers that The New York Times just gave PUNK ROCK a very positive review. That’s good for the show but it majorly reduces my chances of seeing it again before it closes on December 7th. Hopefully, it will extend.

Well ... this pretty much ends a basically totally boring posting ... sorry ‘bout ‘dat.

Stay warm everyone!!

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>1.48 miles (or, 3,247 steps)

Total mileage for 2014==>1,300.77 miles (average 4.05 miles per day)

GO GATORS!!
