Yankees/Boston F**kSox - Time with Dottie Harris - Weather - Plans

Saturday==>TAKE THAT BOSTON F**KSOX!!

Yes, last night up in that fetid cesspool known as Fenway Park the Bronx Bombers kicked butt, winning 5-1 on an outstanding effort from our starter Michael Pineda and a solo homer from A-Rod.

Yep, the win snapped the F**kSox’s 4-game winning streak and pushed them further down into the cellar of the AL East.

Tonight at 7:10pm will be game 2 of the 3-game series. 

On the mound for the Yankees (47-39) will be Ivan Nova (1-2), looking to bounce back from a terrible game against the Rays vs. Eduardo Rodriguez (4-2) for the F**kSox (41-46).

Of course, your favorite Sunshine State blogger will be glued to his 42” flat screen TV, watching this game and then the games that start at 10:00pm

Moving on ...

Yesterday I had a wonderful time with my dear friend Dottie Harris, who I’ve known for over 50 years (dammit, forgot to take a selfie).

Dottie is the former wife of my fraternity brother and mega-Gator Stumpy Harris.

She came over to my new apartment for a quick tour and then we walked over to The Cheesecake Factory in Winter Park Village, where we had an awesome lunch with way-too-much food.

It had been a long-long time since we  had facetime so we had a lot of catching up to do. Among other things, Dottie is an 8-times grandmother, with another on the way.

I am pleased to report that she is well, very happy and living life to the fullest, on her own terms.

So ... Dottie ... great seeing and being with you and we will do some more stuff together in the very near future, trust me on this ... we will.

Moving on ...

Wow ... just stuck my head outside and ... man ... is it hot and muggy. At 1:30pm the temperature is 93º but the heat index is up to ... gasp ... 103º.

Glad I had a good early morning walk and wander session, 3.25 miles, because ain’t no way am I gonna venture out in this heat ... no way ...

So ... will post this and then settle in to watch baseball for the remainder of the day/evening ... hey ... don’t be judgmental ... it is what it f**king is ... so ... just ...
