It’s Hot - Baseball - Donald Rump

Wednesday==>Man, it is hot and humid all across the United States.

At 2:00pm here in Winter Park, in the Sunshine State, it is a very unpleasant 91º with the “feels like” index up to ... gasp ... 103º. A thunder storm is forecast for the late afternoon. No way is your favorite blogger gonna venture out ... no way.

Luckily, at 7:30am this morning it was much nicer at 77º and Billi Pod was able to log in==>3.11 miles during his morning walk and wander session.

Moving on ...

As I had planned for yesterday ... in the early afternoon I took a bus to downtown Orlando, to the Lynx Central Station, and renewed my discounted 30-day unlimited ride pass. It costs $25.00.

The weather was kinda iffy but I was able to get in a walk and wander session and then make it back to the apartment before the afternoon storm arrived. 

This helped Billi Pod record==>5.49 miles for the day. Not bad.

Your favorite blogger then stayed in for the evening... tada ... to watch baseball.

My New York Yankees won a nail-biter last night against the Orioles, winning 3-2 on a two-out, RBI single in the 6th inning by utility infielder Brendan Ryan. The bullpen then closed the game out, as usual.

Tonight it is ...

7:05pm==>Yankees vs. Orioles, game two of the 3-game series from Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed and Ego Built.

On the mound for the division leading Yankees (51-41) will be the now struggling Ivan Nova (1-3), who has lost 3 straight vs. Kevin Gausman (1-1) for the Orioles (46-46)

More good news from the Yankee Universe==>the despicable Boston FuckSox are on a 6-game losing streak, having lost last night to the Astros 8-3, digging their grave deeper into the AL East cellar. They now trail the Bronx Bombers by 10.0 games. Nice Nice!!

My plans for the evening are to remain in the cool and comfortable confines of my new apartment to watch the games on my 42” flat screen TV, in hi-def.

In closing==>Man, someone needs to schedule an intervention for Donald Trump. The very idea that he gave out Senator Lindsey Graham’s private cellphone number on national TV is totally mind-boggling.

Billi Pod is of the opinion that Trump knows that the GOP leadership will never ever allow him to receive the party’s nomination and that he is using all of the free publicity and press coverage he has and will receive to bolster his run as an Independent during the National Election.
