Billi Pod is OK - Trainwreck - Baseball

Friday==>Thanks for the emails, posts and texts asking if your favorite Sunshine State blogger was OK and whether the failure to post yesterday was in any way connected to his reference in Wednesday’s posting to Donald Trump as Donald Rump.

Well, I am happy to report that I am OK and that, thus far, I have not been visited/contacted by anyone involved with Mr. Rump.

I know many of you are now asking your inner selves ... if that’s the case, why didn’t Billi Pod timely post for his loyal and faithful readers and followers?

Well, inner selves ... the reason(s) for no timely posting is that both Wednesday and Thursday were, unfortunately, the same==>early morning walk and wander, oppressively hot weather interspersed with rain, good walking stats, and baseball. He just didn’t feel like sitting down in front of his ‘puter and writing about it.

Now, he recognizes that most of his loyal and faithful readers and followers anxiously look forward to their daily Billi Pod Blogs fix... so ... please forgive him for this transgression. He promises to be better in the future.

So ... let’s just move on to today ...

First of all, here in Winter Park, in the Sunshine State, it has been raining off and on for most of the day. 

It started just as I was concluding my early morning walk and wander session, where I recorded==>3.05 miles.

As I am working on this posting it has cleared up a bit ... so ... 

When I finish this posting my plans are to walk over to the multiplex theatre in Winter Park Village to see the just released ...

This show has received excellent reviews and Billi Pod really likes Amy Schumer and Bill Hader.

Then for the evening Billi Pod will return to the cool and comfortable confines of his new apartment and settle in to watch the 8:10pm game ...

YANKEES/TWINS, first game of a 3-game series, from Minnesota.

On the mound for the AL East leading Yankees (53-41) will be Michael Pineda (9-6) vs. former Yankee Phil Hughes (8-6) for the Twins (51-44).

Yesterday the Yankees swept the Orioles to increase our lead in the AL East to 5.5 games over the second place Blue Jays.

And ... last night the woeful Boston FuckSox lost their 8th straight game and are now mired in the basement, trailing the Yankees by 12.0 games. Oh, how very very nice.

OK, my loyal and faithful readers and followers, time to post this and then get ready for my show ... Oh ... I have a couple of interesting things booked for the weekend and I will share the details with you tomorrow.
