Make no mistake about it my loyal and faithful readers and followers, your favorite blogger is in a major funk over last night’s fiasco at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
The Gators and Coach Muskrat stunk up New Orleans in a way no one, and I mean, no one foresaw.
To quote columnist Mike Bianci in today’s Orlando Sentinel ...
“Muhammad Ali, the iconic ‘Louisville Lip’ represented his hometown university at the ceremonial coin flip before Wednesday’s Sugar Bowl matchup with the Florida Gators.
A few minutes later, the Gators hit the canvas faster and harder than Sonny Liston.
The only thing missing from this inexplicable upset was the phantom punch.
Yes, the Cardinals had Ali on their side, and the Gators appropriately played like a bunch of rope-a-dopes.
The Cardinals recorded the biggest upset in Sugar Bowl history by outclassing the No. 3-ranked Gators in every way imaginable. They had more heart. They had more hustle. They had more composure. They had more fans.
Their quarterback was better. Their offense was better. Their defense was better. Their coaching was better. This game was a complete embarrassment for the Gators.”
Yep, this pretty such sums it up ... ain’t nothing more I can add, so ... let’s try to move on, shall we?
Billi Pod’s report card on yesterday’s matinee entertainment event ...

This is a totally entertaining modernized dance version of Mummenschanz. I probably wouldn’t have booked this show had it not been for the highly favorable recommendation from my theater-buddy Marty Kosarik. Thanks Marty!

What do I mean by “free subscription series ticket” I know some of you are wondering? Well, it’s easy ... as you know, I am a three series subscriber. For each series we get a complimentary ticket to a concert of our choice. That's it.
Damn ... I had hoped that taking the time to write this posting for you loyal and faithful readers and followers would have gotten Billi Pod out of his funk and off of the pity-pot. Well ... it hasn’t ...
So ... will post this and then spend way-too-much time walking around PHC sucking my thumb and thinking negative thoughts about Coach Muskrat and his team ... I mean ... folks ... we got embarrassed on national TV by a team ranked #23 ... and ... dammit ... the Gator Nation has every right to be pissed ... and ... dammit ... I ... I mean ... we ... I mean ... WTF ... goodbye ... later ... whatever ...
