Billi Pod Says==>Happy Birthday Ann N. Parker.

Friday==>A HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout-out to my sister ANN N. PARKER, who now lives in Palm Springs, CA.

WOW!! Me @ 79 and you @ 76==>who would have thunk it?

I guess we are like fine wine ... we have improved as we have aged ... so ...

Have a great day Sister-of-Mine!

Yesterday your favorite blogger here in The Big Apple, The Greatest City In The World, had a great lunch with his friends Dwight and Joanne Wells, from Tampa, FL, at Billi Pod’s favorite Ethiopian restaurant, Meske, located on West 47th Street in his Hell’s Kitchen ‘hood.

D & J were in town briefly to visit with friends. They are in the final stages of an awesome motor-home adventure that began in Mid-April and will conclude the last week of this month. They had left their motor-home in the Catskills and taken a bus down to the city.

Their adventure has taken them throughout most of the Central and Eastern half the the US and as far North as Canada.

We did a lot of much needed catching up. I can honestly say that the 3 of us are truly living our retirement years to the fullest and we acknowledge how blessed we have been.

So ... Dwight and Joanne ... it was great being with you guys. Please remember to keep me advised about the details of your next adventure.

As you loyal and faithful readers and followers know from yesterday’s posting ... my plans for last night were to stay in the pleasant confines of PHC to watch the YANKEES/BOSTON FUCKSOX 7:05pm game from Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed And Ego Built.

Well, I did just that ... and ... what a downer because the Yankees lost a heartbreaker to the FuckSox, 9-8 in 10-innings, as Mo. blew a save and Joba sucked.

These are the headlines in today’s papers ...

“PIG PEN. Mo, Joba wreck Yanks’ comeback in loss to Sox.” - back page of The NY Post

“PAIN IN THE CHECK. Mo blows save, ump misses call on swing in 10 as Yanks drop crusher to Sox.” - back page of The Daily News

“Red Sox Rally in Ninth Against Rivera and Foil Big Yankee Comeback.” - inside sports section of The New York Times

BARF!!

Your favorite blogger intends to stay in tonight to watch game 2 of the 4-game series @ 7:05pm at Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed And Ego Built.

On the mound for The Yankees will be Andy Pettitte (10-9) vs. Felix Doubront (10-6) for The FuckSox.

OK, my loyal and faithful readers and followers ... as I have posted earlier ... next week my dear friend Sandy Mullon of Anna Maria, FL, will be staying with me from Tuesday to Friday ... meaning ... I have tons of stuff to do to make PHC female habitable ... so ... time to get at it.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!

Yesterday’s Pedometer mileage==>2.71 miles (or, 5,938 steps)

Total mileage since 7/1/13==>241.27 miles (average 3.60 miles per day)

GO YANKEES!! GO GATORS!!
