Monday==>Good afternoon my loyal and faithful readers and followers. Your favorite Sunshine State blogger is happy to report that he feels much much better today, which is a good way to get the new week underway.
Yeah, this morning the swelling and pain in my butt was virtually gone and I just felt much better, mentally and physically ... so ...
I started the week with a very nice early morning walk and wander session in my Winter Park Village ‘hood, recording==>2.75 miles.
I have to add that, even though last week was not good health-wise, I still walked==>29.40 miles, averaging 4.20 miles per day. Not bad, IMHO.

As most of you know, Monday is my errands and chores day, so I will start working on my to-do list as soon as I post this ... so ... let’s get underway with yesterday ...
Well ... Sunday started off pretty much as a bummer because not only did I feel kinda blah, but also ...
Yesterday afternoon at Yankee Stadium, The House That Greed and Ego Built, the Toronto Blue Jays won 2-0 as Josh Donaldson and Jose Bautista hit solo HRs. The Jays swept the 3-game series and the Yankees were shut out in consecutive games for the first time since May 12-13, 1999. Major bummer!!
The win cut our lead over the Jays in the AL East to only 1.5 games.
Thankfully, we have today off before beginning a 6-game road trip to Cleveland and then Toronto.
The day was saved by having dinner with my son Bill III aka The Bill at our favorite Outback Steakhouse, on Alamo Avenue in Winter Park.
This has become our restaurant of choice for several reasons: excellent menu; reasonable prices; great food; positive/upbeat environment; and, good service.
I had baby back ribs, with a baked potato and The Bill had his usual sirloin steak, with a baked potato and french fries. We stuffed ourselves.
Then, on the way back to the apartment we stopped by the Krispy Kreme for the usual week's supply of chocolate glazed donuts, evil though they may be.
So ... the day ended on a very positive note.
As I mentioned in an earlier posting, Bill has returned to work at Lake Howell High School in Seminole County, where he teaches math. The kids first day of school is a week from today.
Moving on to today ...
As I said above, first it will be the errands and chores list and then for the evening ... a movie ...
VACATION - “Hoping to bring his family closer together and to recreate his childhood vacation for his own kids, an adult Rusty Griswold takes his wife and two sons on a cross-country road trip to Walley World. Needless to say, things don’t go quite as planned.”
Starring in this comedy are Ed Helms and Christina Applegate, with cameo appearances by Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold.
It has been described as: “A dirtier and raunchier vacation for the next generation of Griswolds.”
Yep, just the kind of movie your favorite Sunshine State blogger is in the mood for.
It is playing at the Regal multiplex, which is in Winter Park Village, across the street from my apartment building.
So ... it is time to post this and begin work on my boring but necessary errands and chores ... and ...
KICK CANCER’S ASS!!
GO YANKEES!! GO GATORS!!
Total mileage for the week==>29.40 miles (average 4.20 miles per day)
Total mileage for 2015==>915.72 miles (average 4.14 miles per day)
