Thursday==>Last night out at Citi Field the struggling Yankees (20-19) got a bit of revenge as we beat The Mets (19-20) 4-0 on their home turf.
The totally amazing Masahiro Tanaka pitched a complete game, giving up only 4 hits, no walks and striking out 8. He improved his season record to 6-0 and has become our ace, without a doubt.
It was an exciting game for a Yankee fan to watch.
Tonight at 7:10pm will be the final game of the 4-game Subway Series. On the mound for The Yankees will be Chase Whitley (0-0) vs. Jacob DeGrom (0-0) for The Mets.
Both starting pitchers are making their Major League debuts. This should be interesting. I can't imagine the pressure they must be feeling.
Yes, your favorite blogger will be in the cozy confines of PHC to watch the game on his awesome 42” TV.
